About Me
Age 36
Diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) in 1999
1st Cholangitis attack 8/2005
I am married with three children:
Girls, 18 and 14 and Son, 7
One Dog - American Mastiff - Lucy
We live in Severna Park, MD roughly halfway between Annapolis and Baltimore.
I work at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and also am seen there by Dr Esteban Mezey.
My health has been pretty good over the past few years. In 2005 while in the hospital they said I would most likely continue to get worse and need a liver transplant within 5 Years. I am now 3 years into the 5 and really am feeling better than ever. I did go through the liver transplant evaluation process and I am listed however I have the lowest MELD score possible.
I love bikes and bicycling. I have a road bike, Fixed Gear road bike, Mountain Bike, Cyclocross bike, and a Tandem.
At one point, I was doing the bike commute to work 1 day a week - see Bike Commute Website but I haven’t done it in a while. I hope to get back to it this summer.
